I'm sorry that I write that late, but I haven't had the chance to do it earlier. In the last past weeks it happened so much! One of them was Prom on May, 9th 2015!
At about 1 pm my host mom and my sister went to go to a friends house, because she is really good at Hair and Make up. It was real fun, because I never had my hair and make up like that and it felt good, haha I guess just girls know what I mean.
That's how I looked after she did my hair and Make up:
At around 5:30 pm we left and drove back home. At home we took some pictures with my friends. Unfortunately, it was raining so we couldn't take that many pictures, but we did take some.
Prom was really fun and the location was really nice. We were in a Castle and our theme was Southern Glam. It was a really nice and fun experience.
The next day, it was Mothers Day. And in the morning there was a really bad thunderstorm and the lightning stroke our neighbor's house. So the fire department had to come. After all that we went to Church and after church we celebrated Mother's Day. Oh, by the way Mother's Day is super big here! It is like a second birthday with lots of gifts for the mom's. In the evening we met up with the family to go eat and it was really fun. We were talking about tornados. That's kind of scary, because we are in the tornado area and in the last few weeks there were about 42 tornados in North Texas! But I'm glad that I didn't see one yet.
Unfortunately, everything goes by so fast. I mean I just have 17 more days left and I just don't know what to think about it. When I look in my calendar, I see so many things going on and I know that the day when I have to say goodbye will come soon. Honestly, I'm really sad about it. There is a good quote that kinda tells how I feel now.
"You build up a life for 16 years and you leave it for 10 Months. You build up a life for 10 Months and you leave it forever. Which one is harder?"
I talked with other exchange students and they feel the same way as I do.
It's not like, I don't wanna go home, it's just not easy to say goodbye to my current life here. I always think, aw I have enough time to do that, but no, there isn't that much time anymore. So now I just enjoy my last days here. I definitely will write another post soon, because on May, 31 is Baccalaureate and on June, 2 is Graduation and on both days we are going to sing with choir.
